About the BREA

The topical focus of the Business Rules Excellence Awards (BREA) includes business rules, business vocabulary, and decisions.

The Award program was founded by Business Rules Solutions headed up by BR experts Gladys Lam and Ron Ross.

The awards program is directed by Future Strategies Inc., who also manages the long-running and prestigious WfMC Awards for Excellence in BPM and WfMC Awards for Excellence in Adaptive Case Management.

Overview

The Business Rules Excellence Awards are the ideal way to be recognized by the industry worldwide, to publicly acknowledge and recognize the efforts of your team and to inject passion into your projects.

  • Entrants will be judged by independent BR experts based on excellence in use of business rules in creating adaptable business capabilities. Entrants will submit use cases demonstrating such successful applications.
  • Regardless of size and industry, entrants’ use cases will be judged on innovation, impact, implementation, adaptability, manageability, etc.
  • The Business Rules Excellence Awards may be expanded such that entrants include teams, individuals and trailblazers based on specific criteria through nomination by peers.

Awards Logistics

Submissions are open worldwide and a vendor / consultant may nominate a customer and submit their use case and any company may submit their own case study. No product pitches will be accepted, however. This is not a platform to describe BR products, but to describe the successful use of BR in a real case study.

  • Winning organizations receive winner logos for web display and print media and printed certificates. Optional engraved trophies may be ordered with custom engraving.
  • Winners receive added recognition by having their award-winning case studies published in a new book on Business Rules to release within next 12 months.
  • Submissions are open to entrants worldwide and service providers and consultants may nominate and submit a customer's use case and any company may submit their own case study.

  • Note: If you consider that you have a highly relevant case study, and your organization has financial difficulty meeting this entry fee please contact us.
  • No entry fee is required for nominating US government agencies or case studies nominated by US government officials entering their own use case.
